Antique Winson & Newton Turquoise #1-3 Paint Tube Set London (1890s-1920s) FULL

This is an incredible piece of history. Winson and Newton was created in 1832. To this day, they are still revered for their very high pigment load and vibrancy. The fact that these survived all these years is amazing - the tubes themselves are beautiful. Even the font and writing is remiscent of a time gone by. My grandson believes they are from the 1890s - 1920s (he has so much wonderful knowledge about random cool things).

Incredibly enough, there''s not one, not two, but THREE colors in the series together. The tubes are nearly if not all the way full (just some taken off the top unless that''s how they come, I''m not sure). The paint is stiffened from years of not being used, but there may be a way to get it to run again. Knowing my luck, I did not want to unscrew the tops and get the paint and dust clouds all over the place. So I''m selling as it, but best wishes! I do detect very slight movement in the tubes, it''s not much, but not cemented.
